Garden Court Umhlanga, Durban

The breakfast buffet at the Garden Court Umhlanga was absolutely fabulous! The variety of dishes offered was impressive, including fresh fruits, pastries, and a selection of hot foods. The hustle and bustle of the dining area combined with the delicious aroma of croissants and bacon made for a welcoming start to the day.

I appreciated how accommodating the hotel was, especially for children. During breakfast, the staff even offered to pack meals for my picky toddlers when they didn't want to eat at the table. It's not common for hotels to show such empathy, and it made our trip much smoother while traveling alone with little ones.

The standard room I stayed in was spacious and well-equipped for my business trip. While it wasn't particularly romantic, it provided all the necessary amenities for a comfortable night's rest. I was also given a welcoming basket with treats upon arrival, which added a nice personal touch.

The pool area at the hotel was beautifully landscaped and quite inviting, especially at night with the landscaping lights. Although I didn't have time for a swim due to my busy itinerary, it certainly looked like a perfect place to unwind and relax after a long day.
